SETC operates long distance bus services greater than 300 kilometres in Tamilnadu and Other States of Kerala, Andhra, Karnataka also UT Pondicherry. SETC have announced bus timings from Chennai CMBT to Ooty on a daily basis.
The bus operated for the service is a brand new Ashok Leyland coach build by Prakash with Vega Chassis model. The model is non airconditioned variant of Vega with 2*2 push back seater alignment.
The bus service is schedule start from Chennai CMBT at 5:45 PM with boarding points at Perungalathur 6:35 PM plus Villupuram at 9:00 PM with dropping point at Ooty next day morning at 7:00 am.
