SETC ( State Express Transport Corporation) operates premium bus services from Chennai to Keeramangalam and Keeramangalam to Chennai via Trichy. The bus schedule operates a Non AC Coach with Air Suspension and Pushback seats for passenger and travel comfort.

Chennai To Keeramangalam SETC Bus Timings

The bus schedule from Chennai starts at 9:45 pm and reaches Keeramangalam next day morning at 07:45 am, in between there is a pick up point at Perungalathur, Chennai at 10:35 pm.

The route no. of the service is designated as 144 UD, UD refers to the coach used for the service is an Ultra Deluxe Non AC coach with premium push back seats and tilting windows.

The passengers are charged Rs.305 per seat (adult) excluding the reservation charges, we recommend the passengers to book the ticket online or at SETC booking centre.

SETC is a premium service operator for Department of Transport, Tamilnadu. SETC operates AC and Non AC coaches for the general public, the transport service also schedules during the festival seasons.

As per the government rule, SETC will operate for any service beyond the 300 kilometre mark and rest will be operated by TNSTC. SETC at present operate buses that are made in Ashok Leyland chassis. SETC at present does not have any fleet of Volvo, Scania and Mercedes in its fleet, but the service provided by SETC cheaper compared to other operators.

Keeramangalam : Keeramangalam is a panchayat town located in the Pudukkottai District of Tamilnadu, India. 81 feet statue of Meinindranaadha swami(Lord Shiva) & 7.25 feet statue of the chief poet “Nakkeerar” are situated at Meinindranaadha swami Temple, Keeramangalam, which is near to Keeramangalam bus stand.

The original name of the village is said to be Nakeerarmangalam named after the great Tamil chief poet “Nakkeerar”
