SETC, State Express Transport Corporation operates daily bus services from Chennai Kilambakam to Coimbatore. The bus services are operated with Volvo AC Multiaxle Semi Sleeper Bus Service B8R 9600, there are two bus services operated daily between Chennai and Coimbatore. The passengers can board the bus service from Chennai Kilambakkam bus terminal as all the west bound and South buses are moved to operate from Kilambakkam instead of Koyambedu to reduce the city traffic.
The bus service from Kilambakkam will depart at 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm, the bus service covers the distance of 492 kilometers in 9 hours.
The fare for the service is excluding the reservation charges is rupees 826 per passenger.
The bus service based amentieis such as pushback seats with leg rest, air conditioning vents with passenger control, reading lamps, mobile charging ports and curtains for sunshade.
