Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has launched new service from Chennai to Bengaluru with Volvo B11R Ambaari Dream Class Premium Sleeper Service. The service is famous among the passengers in Karnataka as its premium most service of KSRTC.
At present there are regular services from Bangalore to Thrissur, Ernakulam, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad and now it’s time for Chennai to experience luxurious service. The service from Bengaluru will start at Noon and reach Chennai at 9 pm. The return service of the hiss will commence at 11.20 pm.
The bus chassis used of the service is of Volvo B11R and the coach of the service is manufactured by two leading private bus body manufacturing units. The name of coaching units are MG Coach Starz Sleeper Model and SMK Prakash Celeste model.
The coach have latest modern safety features and added passenger amenities. As per the site updation, service is to commence from 14th Feb 2020. Whether it’s a silent inauguration, is yet to be confirmed.
The service from Chennai will depart from CMBT or Dr MGR Bus Stand located in Koyambedu at 11.20 pm and will arrive at 5.30 pm Majestic Bus Stand. The travel time between destinations is only 6 hours and 10 minutes. The fare per passenger is Rs. 871.
The additional amenities provided are blankets, comfortable sleeping beds, reading lamps and mobile charging ports.
