State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) has resumed the inter-district bus service with effect from 7th September 2020 as part of resuming the service, SETC has announced the bus services between Coimbatore and Tirunelveli with Non AC Ultra Deluxe class of Bus Service.
At Present, SETC is not operating direct bus services from Coimbatore to Tirunelveli, we are required to utilize the buses traveling to Kuttam, Nagercoil, and Papanasam for traveling to Tirunelveli. The SETC bus service operated in the route is Ultra Deluxe class non-airconditioned vehicle, the amenities provided in the bus are USB mobile charging ports (new bus), reading lamp, and pushback seats for a comfortable journey.
SETC operates only premium bus services in Air Conditioned and Non-Air Conditioned Services with advanced fleets with a focus on passenger comfort. SETC operates bus services greater than 350 kilometers in the state, and buses operated less than 350 kilometers is managed by TNSTC.
