As we are entering lockdown day 105, the public transportation have not been improved compared to month of June 2020 due to increase in Pandemic among the population.
TNSTC SETC MTC the public transportation wing of transport department under government of Tamilnadu is yet to full fledge the operations of transit.
TNSTC SETC MTC have announced there will be zero chances sir conditioned bus services will be operational in the state as it could increase the potential to affect all the passengers of there is a covid 19 infected passenger / official in the bus.
- MTC buses are yet to operationalised in Chennai, only essential government services are operated by MTC.
- SETC is not completely operational in Tamilnadu, only essential services are operated.
- TNSTC is operating buses for emergency essential services and district level services. TNSTC doesn’t operate buses above district limits.
