SETC have recently launched daily bus services from Pondicherry to Guruvayur. The route is served by a Ultra Deluxe coach, ultra deluxe is other wise known as UD. UD service are generally a non AC bus service with mobile charging ports, reading lamp and pushback seats.
The coach for the service will be manufactured by MG Leera or SMK Prakash Vega Model in Ashok Leyland BS4 Chassis.

The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 570 excluding the reservation charges. The journey time taken for the service is 14 hours covering 575 kilometres. The time taken to cover the distance may vary due to road and traffic conditions.
The service passes through Cuddalore, Vadalur, Neyveli, Virudachalam, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur.
The service will reach Guruvayur next day morning at 8 am and route number designated for the service is 790UD.
