SETC has announced the resuming of bus route between Sankarankovil and Bangalore. The bus service is route numbered as 882UD ( Ultra Deluxe) . The bus service will be operated via Sivakasi, Virudhunagar and Hosur.
The bus service would have amenities such as mobile charging ports, reading lamps, pushback seats and leg rest, all the coaches operated are with air suspension chassis for additional travel comfort.
The bus service will depart from Sankarankovil at 5:00 pm and arrive in Bengaluru Bangalore at 6:00 am. The bus have additional passenger boarding points in Sivakasi at 7:00 pm and Virudhunagar at 7:45 pm.

The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 676 per passenger excluding the reservation charges. The total km’s covered by service is 586 kilometres in 13 hours, time and km’s may vary based on traffic and road conditions.
