Southern Railways have announced the launch of Tiruchchirappalli To Chengalpattu To Tiruchchirappalli intercity superfast train service daily via chord line, the train service is scheduled to operate from 12th June 20.

The train is scheduled operate via stoppages at Ariyalur, Villupuram Junction, Melmaruvathur, train no 02606 and no. 02605 is allocated for the service. The schedule from Tiruchchirappalli will depart at 7:10 AM and arrive in Chengalpattu Junction at 11:30 AM, return journey of the train from Chengalpattu is at 4:45 PM and arrive in Tiruchchirappalli Junction at 9:05 PM.
The composition of train is Three AC Chair Cars, Thirteen Non AC Chair Cars, Three General Second Class Sitting, One Pantry Car and Two Generator Cum Brake Vans.
The passengers are requested to carry e-pass provided by Government of Tamilnadu while travelling between the zones, the passengers can apply for e-pass by visiting https://tnepass.tnega.org/#/user/pass
