TNSTC Drivers Shouldn’t Allow Passengers To Sit On Engine Bonnet – Strict Disciplinarian Action InForce

TNSTC ( Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation) have instructed the drivers of the bus to ensure no passengers are allowed to sit on Engine Bonnet. The order is already in place for TNSTC Salem Division and have been ordered to implement in all the divisions of TNSTC.

The order is made live to all the divisions of TNSTC , if any driver is observed violating the norms will be taken strict disciplinarian action. The order is in live due to accidents occurring during passenger conversation with drivers in the bonnet.

The conversations with passenger and driver can lead to accidents and focus on driving will be less. It’s not safe to sit on engine bonnet during bus ride as the place is restricted to sit and stand.

The future buses launched by TNSTC should have driver cabin separation with bars to avoid passengers from sitting in engine bonnet.

TNSTC operates bus service in state of Tamilnadu plus other locations such as Kerala Karnataka Andhra Pradesh Telegana. TNSTC is one of India’s largest publish sector transport company.
