SETC, State Express Transport Corporation operates daily bus services from Vellore to Sabarimala via Tiruvannamalai, Trichy. The bus service is operated every day from Vellore Old Bus Stand at 2:00 pm, arrive at Pampa next day morning. The pilgrims are required to take special bus service from Pampa to Sabarimala.
The bus service is operated with non-AC class of coach with 2*2 pushback seats. The bus service would have mobile charging ports, reading lamps and tilting windows, the coaches are built in air suspension-based chassis for additional travel comfort.
The bus fare for the service from Vellore to Sabarimala is fixed at Rs. 1010 per passenger excluding the reservation charges. The reservation charges for the service are charged at web portal and computerised booking centres.
