State Express Transport Corporation operates daily bus services from Chennai Kilambakkam KCBT to Trichy via Tindivanam, Melmaruvathur, Viluppuram, Perambalur. The bus service is operated with latest Volvo Multiaxle 9600 series coaches with semi sleeper seating arrangements.
Two bus services are operated daily from Chennai Kilambakkam to Trichy, there is a day and night service is operated by SETC. The first bus service will depart from Kilambakkam at 10:00 am and arrives in Trichy at 5:00 PM and second bus service will depart at 11:00 PM and arrives in Trichy at 6:00 AM.
The fare for the service is fixed at rupees 527 excluding the reservation charges, the SETC bus service are digitally enabled to provided UPI based payments during the travel.
The bus service can be reserved by passenger to travel the official website www.tnstc.in, the passengers can reserve the service in advance of 90 days of bookings.
