State Express Transport Corporation has announced special bus services from Chennai To Sabarimala via Tindivanam, Villupuram, Trichy, Dindigul, Theni, Cumbum, Kumily. The bus service will start operating from 16th November 2025, the bus service will depart from Chennai Kilambakkam bus stand, previously the services used to operate from Chennai Koyambedu CMBT.
There are two bus services to be operated in initial stage, and further services will be added, as the pilgrim travel more from December to January.
The first bus service will depart from Chennai Kilambakkam KCBT at 2:30 PM and arrive in Pampa (Sabarimala) at 6:30 AM next day morning.
The second bus service will depart from Chennai Kilambakkam KCBT at 3:00 PM and arrive in Pampa Sabarimala Next day morning at 7:00 AM.
The fare for the service per passenger is fixed at rupees 1215 for seater and 1565 for sleeper. The fares are excluding the reservation charges.
