Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation operates daily bus services from Chidambaram to Rameshwaram. TNSTC is a state owned Transport Corporation with more than 20000 fleets operating in Tamilnadu as well Limited services are operated to neighboring states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, UT Puducherry from Tamilnadu.
The bus service departs everyday morning at 4:00 am and reaches Rameshwaram everyday evening at 12:00 PM. The bus covers a distance of 380 kilometers in 8 hours.
The fare for the service is 284 excluding the reservation charges. The passengers can book the service in advance of 90 days from the date of bookings.
