TNSTC, Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation has announced the launch of new AC economy bus service between Chidambaram and Salem. The bus service is operated by new air-conditioned economy class coaches with 3*2 seating arrangement.. Buses using the service have amenities such as mobile charging ports, air vents, water bottle holders and luggage racks.

The TNSTC AC bus service from Chidambaram will depart at 12:35 pm and arrive at 5:45 pm in Salem. The total journey hours covering the distance is 5 hours and 10 minutes, may vary depending on traffic and road conditions enroute the destination.
The bus service is operated via Attur, Veppur, Virudhachalam and Neyveli for the service between Chidambaram and Salem.
