SETC has announced the resuming the bus operations from Erode to Chennai. At present the bus services operated will be of non AC class known as ultra deluxe service. SETC will be operating 4 ultra deluxe bus services from Erode to Chennai via Salem, Villupuram.
The bus services scheduled to be operated will be having amenities such as mobile charging ports, reading lamps and pushback seats. The coach used for the service is built in air suspension chassis for additional travel comfort.

The fare for the service from Erode to Chennai per passenger is fixed at Rs. 407 excluding the reservation charges. The total distance covered in the schedule between Erode and Chennai is 427 kilometres in approximately 9 hours and 30 minutes.
