PRTC, Pondicherry Road Transport Corproation is operating daily bus services between Pondicherry and Coimbatore. SETC, the premium Transport wing of Tamilnadu Government is also operating premium bus services between Pondicherry and Coimbatore. SETC is a sister concern of Department of Transport which also manages TNSTC.
The bus services between Pondicherry and Coimbatore is operated via Cuddalore, Virudhcalam, Salem, Avinashi. The coach used for the service is non air conditioned coach with 2*2 seating arrangement,mobile charing ports, push back seats. The bus services promotes tourism between two states.
The present service is operated between Pondivherry and Mahe which will have a boarding and dropping point at Coimbatore.
