SETC operates daily bus services from Salem to Ernakulam and Ernakulam to Salem. The bus service we are discussing here is about the non AC seater cum sleeper bus service operated between Salem and Ernakulam.
The bus service between Salem and Ernakulam is operated via Perundurai, Avinashi Bypass, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur.
The bus service departs everyday night at 9:30 PM and arrive in Ernakulam next day morning at 6:30 AM. The bus service can be booked online by visiting www.tnstc.in in advance of 90 days from the date of bookings.
The fare for the bus service is fixed at rupees 437 per passenger in seater and 605 per passenger in sleeper berth. The fare for the bus service is excluding the reservation charges if booked through online.
The bus service have dropping point in Thrissur at 3:45 AM and Aluva at 545 AM. The total travel time between Salem and Ernakulam is 9 hours covering a distance of 371 Kms.
