SETC ( State Express Transport Corporation) plans to launch new AC Seater cum sleeper service from Coimbatore to Trivandrum on daily basis. At present Kerala RTC is monopoly in the route with Scania and Volvo B9R multiaxle AC services.
The new services will be a blessing to the passengers traveling to Trivandrum and Coimbatore. We are yet to get the confirmation on the route the services will be operated is it via Kerala / Tamilnadu. At present Kerala RTC operates the service via Ernakulam Palakkad.
Thanks to Sri Ram for the update on the latest buses been registered to be operated in the route. The service is expected to start at 9pm from Coimbatore.
The bus service operated will be of MG Coach with Ashok Leyland Chassis. The bus will be of Coimbatore depot and blessing is Trivandrum we have our own depot.
