The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) and State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) have announced the commencement of special bus services for Sabarimala devotees starting from November 16, 2025, continuing until January 16, 2026. These services are organized under the guidance of the Tamil Nadu Government to facilitate smooth and comfortable travel for Ayyappa devotees during the annual Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season.

Special buses will operate from major cities and towns across Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Trichy, and Nagercoil, directly to the Sabarimala base locations such as Pamba and Erumely. The services include Ultra Deluxe, Air-Conditioned (AC), and Non-Stop (NSS) special buses to accommodate the large number of devotees traveling during the season.
Advance booking for these special services will begin from December 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM, while services are scheduled to commence on December 26, 2025. Tickets can be conveniently booked through the official website www.tnstc.in or via the TNSTC Official Mobile App, ensuring a hassle-free experience for pilgrims. The transport corporations have made extensive arrangements to ensure safety, punctuality, and comfort throughout the journey.
Devotees traveling in groups are advised to book their tickets early to secure seats and avoid last-minute inconvenience. The initiative is expected to significantly reduce the travel burden for thousands of pilgrims heading to Sabarimala, especially during peak days.
