SETC has announced the launch of interstate bus services from Karur in Tamilnadu to Bangalore in Karnataka. The interstate bus services are operated with non AC coach in the name of Ultra Deluxe. The bus service will have amenities such as mobile charging ports, pushback seats and reading lamps.
The non AC SETC interstate bus is scheduled to depart from Karur at 10:30 pm and arrive in Bangalore Shantinagar Bus Stand next day morning at 5:30 am. The schedule is expected to run 311 kilometres in 7 hours, the distance and time May vary depending upon the road and traffic conditions.
The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 392 excluding the reservation charges. The passengers can book the service by visiting www.TNSTC.in.
The route number designated for the service is 840UD by SETC authorities for the service between Karur and Bangalore.

KSRTC Karnataka state road transport corporation has resumed the bus operations between Trichy to Bengaluru and Bengaluru to Trichy on daily basis. KSRTC operates AC sleeper, non AC sleeper and non AC pushback seat bus services between Bengaluru ans Trichy.
At present, KSRTC operates only one special AC sleeper bus service between Trichy and Bengaluru. Due to the health circular shared by government of Tamilnadu SETC is operating only non AC class of service in all the intrastate and interstate routes.
The bus service from Trichy will depart from Trichy central bus stand at 8:00 pm and arrive in Bengaluru next day morning at 5:30 am.
The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 735 excluding the reservation charges. The bus service has 30 berths for passengers in upper and lower level. The total journey time from Trichy to Bengaluru is 7 hours and 30 minutes, timing would change based on road and traffic conditions.
The schedule is operated via Namakkal, Salem and Hosur to arrive at Bengaluru from Trichy.
