SETC has announced the launch of interstate bus services from Karur in Tamilnadu to Bangalore in Karnataka. The interstate bus services are operated with non AC coach in the name of Ultra Deluxe. The bus service will have amenities such as mobile charging ports, pushback seats and reading lamps.
The non AC SETC interstate bus is scheduled to depart from Karur at 10:30 pm and arrive in Bangalore Shantinagar Bus Stand next day morning at 5:30 am. The schedule is expected to run 311 kilometres in 7 hours, the distance and time May vary depending upon the road and traffic conditions.
The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 392 excluding the reservation charges. The passengers can book the service by visiting www.TNSTC.in.
The route number designated for the service is 840UD by SETC authorities for the service between Karur and Bangalore.
TNSTC has announced the launch of economic air conditioned services eac services from Karur to Coimbatore. The speciality of the service is the bus is a non stop service and known as 1 to 1 tag line.

The service is operated by air conditioned coach with 3*2 seating, mobile charging ports, passenger controlled AC vents. The coach can be given an example of AC Chair Car of railways.

The government owned transport organisation SETC have announced the launch of AC Sleeper Seater Bus Service in Karur to Chennai route. The service is hit among the general public with launch of the service, the service is operated by Ashok Leyland BS4 vehicle with Prakash Vega Chassis.
The bus is designed to carry passengers in lower deck with pushback seating feature and upper deck with sleeper options. The bus is scheduled to leave from Karur everyday at 9:30 PM and reach Chennai CMBT next day morning at 7:30 AM.
