Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation is all set to resume the bus operations to Tamilnadu from 23-Aug-2021.
The KSRTC will follow all the required COVID protocols for the bus operations to Tamilnadu. The bus services between the states were stopped on April 27 2021.
The KSRTC is expected to operate of 250-300 buses based on the passengers. The interstate service restoration between Karnataka and Tamilnadu will be a great relief as the passengers traveling via bus, required to cross the border via walk for transit to Karnataka.

KSRTC Karnataka state road transport corporation has resumed the bus operations between Trichy to Bengaluru and Bengaluru to Trichy on daily basis. KSRTC operates AC sleeper, non AC sleeper and non AC pushback seat bus services between Bengaluru ans Trichy.
At present, KSRTC operates only one special AC sleeper bus service between Trichy and Bengaluru. Due to the health circular shared by government of Tamilnadu SETC is operating only non AC class of service in all the intrastate and interstate routes.
The bus service from Trichy will depart from Trichy central bus stand at 8:00 pm and arrive in Bengaluru next day morning at 5:30 am.
The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 735 excluding the reservation charges. The bus service has 30 berths for passengers in upper and lower level. The total journey time from Trichy to Bengaluru is 7 hours and 30 minutes, timing would change based on road and traffic conditions.
The schedule is operated via Namakkal, Salem and Hosur to arrive at Bengaluru from Trichy.

KSRTC has announced operations of two new Erode to Mysore via Sathyamangalam bus services. The new bus service is operated with non AC Sariage class of coach, bus service is operated with non AC standard coach with 3*2 Seater.
The bus service doesn’t have additional amenities such as pushback seats, mobile charging ports and reading lamps.
