KSRTC operates daily bus services from Coimbatore to Tumakuru otherwise known as Tumkur on a daily basis. At present there is only direct bus serving Coimbatore and Tumkur on daily basis.
The bus service is operated with non AC standard coach with 3*2 Seater alignment. The bus service doesn’t have amenities such as mobile charging ports, reading lamp and pushback seats.
The daily bus service from Coimbatore to Tumkur will depart from Coimbatore from Mettupalayam Road Bus Stand at 6:30 am and arrive in Tumkur at 6:00 pm.
The bus service have additional boarding points and dropping points at Gandhipuram SETC bus stand at 7:30 am, Ganapathi bus stand at 7:35 am, Saravanampatti at 7:45 am, Annur Bus stand at 8:00 am, Sathyamangalam at 9:00 am, Mysuru bus stand at 1:30 pm, Pandavapura bus stand at 2:00 pm, Nagamangala at 3:25 pm, Bellur bus stand at 3:50 pm, Mayasandra bus stand at 4:20 pm.
The fare for the service per passenger is fixed at Rs. 372 excluding the reservation charges.

KSRTC operates daily interstate bus service between Karnataka and Tamilnadu. KSRTC operates long distance Express non AC Sariage buses between Coimbatore and Davanagere via Annur, Sathyamangalam, Maddur, Tumakur, Sira, Hiriyur, Chitradurga.
The bus service is operated non AC coach with 3*2 Seater alignment, bus service is operated with no standard amenities such as reading lamp and pushback seats.
At present there is only one night Service operated from Coimbatore to Davanagere, bus service will depart from Coimbatore at 7:30 pm and arrive in Davanagere at 8:30 am. The bus service have additional boarding and dropping points at Ganapathi Bus stand 7:35 pm, Saravanampatti 7:45 pm, Annur 8:00 pm, Sathyamangalam 9:15 pm, Maddur 2:30 am, Tumakuru 4:35 am, Sira 5:35 am, Hiriyur 6:25 am, Chitradurga 7:15 am.
The bus service will cover the distance between Coimbatore and Davanagere in 13 hours and 30 minutes. The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 589 excluding the reservation charges.

Government of Tamilnadu has resumed the interstate bus services resumed between Tamilnadu and Karnataka with effect from 12th November 2020. As part of resumption of service, the bus services are operated from Tamilnadu to different parts of Karnataka as per the interstate agreement signed by Government of Tamilnadu and Karnataka.

The bus service from Thiruvananthapuram will depart at 4.29 pm, Ernakulam at 9.30 pm, Thrissur at 11 pm, Kozhikode at 2.15 pm and arrive at Mysore next day morning 7:00 am.
