TNSTC, the government owned public transport organisation has introduced ac bus service from Ooty to Silicon Valley of India Bangalore newly known as Bengaluru. The bus service is operated with EAC class of service, EAC stands for economic air conditioned service, the coach has comfortable seats with 3*2 seating arrangements and USB charging ports.
The bus service will depart from Ooty at 12:30 pm everyday, the bus service operated between Ooty and Bangalore passes via Mysore.
At present the service isn’t listed in the online portal of www.tnstc.in for online ticket reservation system. Karnataka RTC is also operating air conditioned services in the same stretch.
SETC has announced the resuming of bus operations from Chennai To Ooty with 4 daily services. 2 services will be operated via Mettupalayam, one via Coimbatore, one upto Gudalur via Ooty.
At present the SETC is not operating any air conditioned bus services. The bus services would have amenities such as pushback seats, mobile charging ports, reading lamps.

The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 573 excluding the reservation charges. The bus services covers a distance of 562 kilometres in 13 hours and 15 minutes.

TNSTC have resumed operations today on 1st June 20 as per the guidelines received from Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu.

The schedule have boarding points at Coonoor, Gandhipuram, Pollachi, Udumalpet, Palani. The passengers to Tirunelveli, Nagercoil and Marthandam will be able to book in the bus and travel.
