TNSTC have recently have launched economy seater bus services between various destinations in Tamilnadu and neighbouring districts. The features of the services are the coach used is Air Conditioned with additional features of AC Vents, Emergency Buttons in passenger seats, Mobile Charging Ports.
TNSTC Coimbatore division have introduced AC Seater Service between Koyambathur to Salem Non Stop Service for the public to utilize, the timings from Koyambathur Gandhipuram Central Bus Stand is 06:36 AM, 07;40 AM, 10:40 AM, 12:20 PM, 04:02 PM, 07:03 PM, 05:33 PM, 09:45 PM.
The Fare for the service is Rs. 190 per passenger, at present there is no reservation for the service.
TNSTC have resumed the public transportation services from 1-Jun-20 as part of it Nellai region had large number of passengers traveling to Nagercoil from 2-Jun-20.
The spike of passengers were observed on 2-Jun-20 and buses were crowded with passengers without following social distancing in the buses. Due to the incident, 10 additional services were operated to Nagercoil with 60% seating by Nellai region.
The passengers were stopped at Test Booth and Corona test were carried out for the passengers, passengers name address mobile numbers were taken for health purpose by the officials.
The conductor of the bus will cross check the passengers with Aadhar card either in original or photostat is accepted. The conductor if found any thing abnormal with passenger will not allow the passenger and alert the officials.
The reason for Aadhar card is for our better tomorrow, let’s avoid unwanted travel and be a good citizen.
