Who is SETC ?

SETC stands for State Express Transport Corporation under Government of Tamilnadu. SETC operates long route buses in the state of Tamilnadu. The fleet of SETC contains Air Conditioned and Non-AC buses with pushback seats, the fleet of buses is fitted with air suspension for comfort of passengers.

SETC and TNSTC operates for the benefit of passengers and cheapest mode of transport available for public. The passengers are happy with the service provided by Government. The service is a blessing to people of Tamilnadu and provides cheapest mode of transport compared to private operators. The bus service provided by SETC does not have Dynamic Pricing like in trains and private carriers.

The crew of the bus will have a conductor and driver or driver come conductor. The driver come conductor is introduced to reduce the stress for long route buses.

SETC. the state owned premium transport organisation of Tamilnadu operates buses to Pamba from Chennai on the festival season of Sabarimala. Velakanni to Chennai of Nagapatinam Depot does the special service for the season.

SETC regularly operates the buses from Chennai and other parts of state to Pamba during the pilgrimage season. We have spotted bus departing to Pamba at CMBT.
