The government has announced has 750 special buses for Deepawali will be scheduled from Chennai to Cauvery Delta locations such as Nagapattinam, Velakanni, Thiruvaroor, Thirutharapundi, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Manarkudi and <!–more–>Pudukottai.
The special buses will be plying on Oct 26, 27 and 28 with 24 hours availability. The buses to Mayilathadurai, Nagapattinam, Velakanni, Thiruvaroor and Thirutharapundi will start from Koyamedu Terminal. The buses to Thanjavur, Manarkudi, Pudukottai and Kumbakonam will start from Tambaram Terminal.
