12-Jun-20 : Southern Railway have announced the launch of new special train from Arakkonam To Koyampuththoor To Arakkonam on daily basis effective from 12th June 20. The train will depart from Arakkonam Junction at 7.00 AM arrive at Koyampuththoor at 2.05 PM, the return journey from Koyampuththoor will depart at 3.15 PM and arrive at 10.00 PM at Arakkonam.

The train number designated for the service is 02675 Arakkonam To Koyampuththoor Jn Superfast Intercity Special and 02676 Koyampuththoor to Arakkonam Jn Superfast Intercity Special.
The trains 02675 and 02676 will pass through Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode Jn, Tirupur before reaching Arakkonam / Koyampuththoor. The train operated will be having a composition of Two AC Chair Cars, Fourteen Non AC Chair Cars, Five General Second Class (Sitting) Coaches, One Pantry Car and Two Luggage Cum Brake Vans.
The passengers are requested to carry e-pass provided by Government of Tamilnadu while travelling between the zones, the passengers can apply for e-pass by visiting https://tnepass.tnega.org/#/user/pass
