State Express Transport Corporation of Tamilnadu Government, operates bus service from Bodi to Chennai via Theni Batlagundu. The service is non ac bus service with air suspension facility in body and pushback seats for added comfort to the passengers.
At present there are two buses service in a day from Bodi to Chennai and both the buses travels with a gap of one hour. The first bus departs at 5:30 pm and second bus departs at 6:30 pm.
The bus service takes 511 kilometers to reach destination with a time frame of 12 hours and 30 minutes. The first bus is excepted to reach at 6:00 am and second bus at 7:00 am. The time frame and distance may vary depending upon the traffic and road conditions.
The bus service have boarding point at Theni and Batlagundu apart from Bodi enroute to Chennai. The service is a hit among the travelers traveling to Theni and Batlagundu. The fare for the service is set at Rs. 370 excluding the reservation charges.
