A1 Travels have launched new bus service from Chennai to Kozhikode and Kozhikode to Chennai on a daily basis. The schedule is operated by AC Seater cum Sleeper With Bharat Benz chassis in Prakash Capella coach model.
The bus service will pass through Malapuram, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Salem to reach the destinations. At present this route is not occupied by government premium operator.
The bus service from Calicut will start at 5 pm and reach Chennai at 7am. The service from Chennai will start at 7.15 pm and reach Calicut by 8.15 am.
AC Seater ticket fare as per the website is shown as 1100 and Sleeper is Rs.1400. The ticket fare is sole discretion of the operator and vary time to time. Air conditioned coaches carry additional 5% GST apart from ticket fare.
Features of the bus are air suspension chassis for travel comfort in difficult terrain. AC vents, Reading lamps and Mobile charging ports. Blankets would be provided to the passengers.
