KSRTC the state owned public transportation organisation of Kerala State, operates daily interstate bus services from Ernakulam to Chennai and Chennai to Coimbatore. The bus service is operated with air conditioned coach manufactured by Prakash in Vega Model as per ARAI standards, the coach is build in Ashok Leyland Chassis.

The bus service is scheduled to operate from Ernakulam to Chennai via Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore,Salem, Villupuram, Tindivanam. The bus service connects the financial capital of Kerala Ernakulam otherwise known as Kochi or Cochin and Cultural capital Chennai in Tamilnadu.

The bus service is long ask from the people of Tamilnadu and Kerala, the bus service is getting good pax in to and return journeys. The amenities provided in the bus service include mobile charging ports, pushback seats, air conditioned coach with passenger vents, water bottle holder, leg rest, reading lamps.
The bus service from Ernakulam will depart at 7:45 pm and arrive at Chennai Koyambedu Terminal at 8:40 am next day morning. During the journey the bus service have boarding points to board the pax in Vytilla Hub at 8:00 pm, Angamaly at 8:40 pm, Thrissur at 9:35 pm, Palakkad at 9:15 pm, L&T Neelambur Bypass at 12:10 am, Salem at 3:15 am, Viluppuram at 6:15 am, Tindivanam at 6:45 am, Chengalpet at 7:55 am, Mahindra City at 7:37 am, SRM University at 7:46 am, Perungalathur at 8:01 am, Polur Bypass at 8:30 am, Maduravayal Bypass at 8:32 am.
The bus service can be booked online via abhibus or m.keralartc.com. The fare for the service is fixed at 1341 per adult passenger during weekend and rupees 1341 during weekdays.
