SETC government have recently launched new bus service Gudalur to Shencottah and Shencottah to Gudalur on daily basis. The class of service launches is ultra deluxe service, UD service are non AC service.
The bus service operated is with a non AC coach with pushback seats and additional features will be available if it’s new bus such as mobile charging ports plus reading lamps.
The coach is manufactured by private bus body building units such as SMK Prakash and KMS in Vega model.

The fare per passenger excluding the reservation charges for Seater is Rs.560 . The total distance covered by the service is 545 kilometers in 12 hours, distance and time may vary due to road and traffic conditions.
The route no. Designated for the service from Shencottah to Ooty and Ooty to Shencottah is 629G. Kindly note the starting point of the service from Chennai is Chennai Dr.MGR Bus Stand.
The tickets for the service can be booked online via www.tnstc.in or third party bus ticket booking websites such as redbus or Paytm.
