TNSTC operates daily bus services from Chennai Madhavaram to Puducherry, the bus service is operated by Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation, TNSTC is a state owned bus transport corporation with its fleet operating in Tamilnadu as well to neigbouring states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Puducherry. TNSTC operates Town Buses, Non AC Seater, AC Seater and Ultra Deluxe class of services with its 20000 fleets.
The bus service is operated from Madhavaram Mofussil Bus terminus (MMBT) to Puducherry New Bus Stand. The first bus service from MMBT is at 6:00 am and last bus service is at 10:00 pm to Puducherry.
