Sabarimala & Madurai: SETC the sister organisation of TNSTC operates daily Bus services from Madurai to Pampa, the bus services are operated on the Sabarimala season by SETC to cater the requirements of pilgrims traveling to the Sabarimala temple.
The pilgrims can travel without any discomfort by booking the service in advance of 30 days from the date of booking. The bus service is operated with non-AC class of service 2*2 seating arrangements. The coach used for the service is non-AC have pushback seats, mobile charging ports (new model) , reading lamps and tilting windows.
The bus service is operated from SETC Bus Stand in Madurai at 8:00 PM and arrive in Sabarimala (Pampa) next day morning at 5:30 AM, the fare for the service is fixed at Rupees 615 excluding the reservation charges. The travel time from Madurai to Sabarimala is 9 hours and 30 minutes, distance and travel time may vary due to road and traffic conditions enroute the destination.

The bus service has additional boarding points at Mattuthavani Bus Stand at 8:00 pm, Arapalayam Bus Stand at 8:15 PM, Madurai University Bus Stand 8:30 pm.
