SETC, State Express Transport Corporation has announced the launch of Non AC Seater Cum Sleeper Bus Service from Marthandam to Vellore. The bus service is operated with newly inducted fleet of Non AC Seater Cum Sleeper bus made by SMK Prakash in Bangalore with ashok leyland chasis.
SETC operates the service between Marthandam and Vellore via Thuckkalay, Nagercoil, Valliyoor, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Tiruvannamalai. The bus services provides passengers with amenities such as pushback seats, sleeping berths, fans in berth, mobile charging ports and reading lamps.

The bus service will depart from Marthandam at 3:30 PM and arrive in Vellore next day morning at 7:15pm. The service has boarding point in Thuckkalay at 4:00 pm, Nagercoil at 5:00 pm, Valliyoor at 5:45 pm, Tirunelveli at 7:00pm, Madurai at 10:45 pm. The passengers planning to travel from Marthandam to Tiruvannamalai can also utilize the service as the service have a dropping point in Tiruvannamalai at 5:15 am.
