SETC (State Express Transport Organisation) operates three daily bus services from Pondicherry to Tiruchendur. The bus service is operated with Non AC class of service with 2*2 seating arrangements, pushback seats, mobile charging ports, sliding windows and ample leg space for comfortable travel.
The three bus services depart from Pondicherry Bus Stand at 5:15pm, 5:40 pm, 6:50 pm and arrive in Tiruchendur next day morning at 5:30 am, 5:55 am, 7:05 am respectively. The fare for the service is fixed at rupees 545 excluding the reservation charges.
The bus service from Pondicherry to Tiruchendur is operated via Cuddalore, Neyveli, Madharakuppam, Virudhachalam, Pennadam, Tittakudi, Mattuthavani Bus Stand Madurai, Arupukottai Bypass, Thoothukudi.
The bus service covers a distance of 525 kilometers in 12 hours , the distance and journey hours may vary depending upon the traffic and road conditions enroute the destination.
