SETC have recently launched new AC Seater Bus service from Coimbatore to Bangalore on a daily basis from both sides. The schedule is non stop service from Coimbatore to Bangalore.

The schedule is route numbered as 838 AC, the bus used for service is latest AC Seater bus launched on 4th July 2019. The coach is built by SMK Prakash in Vega AC Seater model, the model built have additional features other than normal bus 2*2 pushback seats, mobile charging usb ports, reading lights, water bottle holder, paper holder. The chassis used for building the coach is Air Suspension chassis for additional travel comfort.
The schedule takes 8 hours 30 minutes to cover an distance of 377 kilometres. The distance and journey time may vary due to road and traffic conditions enroute to destination.

The schedule have additional boarding points at Coimbatore apart from Gandipuram SETC Bus Stand, Hope College Bus Stop, KMCH bus stop, Karumathapatti, Perumanaloor Toll Plaza.
The passengers can book 60days upfront from date of booking, passengers can book ticket by visiting www.tnstc.in .
The ticket fare per passenger is Rs.525 excluding the reservation charges, the passengers can also book their tickets via Third Party Site www.redbus.com
