State Express Transport Corporation operates bus services from Chennai – Thanjavur On a Daily Basis. Two new services is launched on a daily basis, the new services scheduled to operate is with AC Seater Cum Sleeper coaches built by Prakash on Ashok Leyland Chassis.
The service operates from Chennai CMBT bus stand located at Koyambedu to Thanjavur Government Bus Stand. The service will be an hit among general public commuting to Thoothukudi from Chennai.
The passengers can book the service via online and ticket counters of SETC. At present SETC have listed there service famous bus booking app Redbus.
The schedule have two timings

The coach is made by Prakash with Ashok Leyland chassis.
Both schedules have boarding points at Ashok pillar Alandur Chromepet Perungalathur Tambaram.
The route number for the service is designated as 323 AB with trip code 1000CHETHAAB for morning service and 2100CHETHAAB for evening service.
The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 457 excluding the reservation charges as applicable.
