SETC Non AC Seater Cum Sleeper Bus Overcrowded Due to Trains Cancelled and Hostels Gets Closed

As you are aware, Tamilnadu State Government have announced lock down of the state as on 24th Mar 20 6pm to 31st Mar’20.

There is hefty crowd due to trains getting cancelled and people require to travel back to their home towns.

Major reason for rush of passengers are the hostels and accommodations getting closed due to 144. The buses from other cities haven’t reached Chennai due to Janata Curfew announced on 22-Mar-20 7 am to 9 pm, later extended to 23-Mar-20 5 am.

Normally SETC operates bus services at night excluding the cities of Salem Erode Madurai Trichy Villupuram.

Dear Passenger Friends, Request you not to damage public property (buses) and ensure masks along with sanitizers.
