Chennai Metro Transport Corporation have given strict guidelines to the Drivers, Conductors and Other Officials. The restoration of public transport operations is expected to be restored by 4-May-20 next day of COVID19 Lock down end as communicated by Honorable Prime Minister of India Mr.Narendra Modi.
The Passengers utilizing public transport should be mandatory using Mask to travel onboard the bus. The passengers are required to maintain social distancing during the travel in bus, social distancing of passengers should be strictly checked by conductor and driver. The conductors are required utilize to provide the ticket with watery sponge to the passengers.
The driver and conductor are required to ensure the bus utilized to transit passengers have completed disinfection procedure. The driver and conductor are also required to ensure the bus is disinfected before entering the bus bay to transport passengers.
The drivers and conductors are to ensure they wash their hands after every trip end, The drivers and conductors are instructed to close the doors of the vehicle (if available).
