SETC operates daily bus services from Shencottah to Tirupathi via Tenkasi, Kadaya Nallur, Puliyankudi, Rajapalayam Bus Stand, Madurai, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, and Chittoor. SETC operates the bus service with the Non AC class of service, the route number designated for the service is 990UD.
The Bus used for the service has amenities such as reading lamps, pushback seats, leg rest, mobile charging ports, water bottle holder, and built-in air suspension-based chassis for additional travel comfort.
The bus service from Shencottah will depart at 12:00 pm in the afternoon and arrive in Tirupathi at 2:30 am early morning. The total journey hours from Shencottah to Tirupathi is 14 hours 30 minutes covering a distance of 692 kilometers.
The passengers visiting Tirupathi and Tiruvannamalai can also utilize the service, at present the online reservation system is not available till Tiruvannamalai, but the passengers who wish to travel with reservations can book up to Vellore for a hassle-free travel experience.
