KSRTC Launches Namma Cargo – Road Transport Cargo Logistics Business

KSRTC, Karnataka Road Transport Corporation has announced the launch of Namma Cargo, a Cargo business that operates via Road by inducting 20 Cargo Transport Vehicles and eyeing the opportunity of logistics business.

KSRTC Namma Cargo will be available from Bangalore, Mysore, Chikamagalur, Hassan, Mangalore, Shivamogga, Kolar, Davanagere to the various places in Karnataka State. At present, logistics business will be operated inside the state.

The features of KSRTC Namma Cargo are

  • Dedicated and fleet owned by KSRTC to facilitate goods in and around Karnataka State.
  • Trucks are equipped with closed container body with 14 feet length × 7 feet breath and width.
  • Robust network of reliable manpower
  • GPS tracking to deliver goods safely and on time.
  • Services are facilitated through Memorandum of Understanding

Namma Cargo inducted now can take a pay load of 6 Tons.

Charges of the fleet are 1 to 100km charged at 50 rupees per km, 1 to 200km 40 rupees per km l, above 200km 35 rupees per km. Minimum charged for 1 to 100 km is 5000.

Bengaluru To Karaikal KSRTC AC Bus Service Timings Airavat Club Class

Ksrtc operates daily bus service between Bengaluru to Karailal, the bus service is operated with AC class of service Known as Airavat Club Class, a semi Sleeper Seater type of coach is used in chassis of Volvo or Scania.

Ksrtc operates daily bus services from Tiruvannamalai to Chickmagaluru and Chickmagaluru to Tiruvannamalai. The services is operated with Non AC class of service known as Sariage.
