Southern Railways have announced the launch of Special Trains during COVID 19 effective 1st June 20. As per announced reports, one of the announced routes are Madurai to Villupuram To Madurai.

The Trains schedules will be operated with composition of 3AC Chair Cars, 13 Second Class Chair Cars, 3 Second Class Coaches and 2 Generator Cum Brake Vans.

The schedule from Madurai To Villupuram runs with train No. 02636 and Villupuram to Madurai runs with train No. 02635.

The train will pass through Dindigul, Tiruchirapalli, Ariyalur to reach Villupuram and Madurai.

The train No. 02636 will depart from Madurai To Villupuram at 07.00 AM and arrive at 12.05 pm, The train no. 02635 will depart from Villupuram To Madurai at 4 pm and arrive at 9.20 pm.

State Express Transport Corporation announced the launch of Udangudi to Erode via Karur with Non AC Variant Ashok Leyland Push Back Seater Coach. The bus schedule is scheduled with trip code 1715UDAERO and Route Number 624 UD.

The bus schedule departs at 5:15 PM from Udangudi with boarding points at Sathankulam – 5:30 PM, Tirunelveli – 8:30 PM, Kayathar Toll Plaza – 9:10 PM, Kovilpatti – 9:45 PM with additional dropping point at Karur – 3:15 AM and last dropping point at Erode – 6:00 AM.

Udangudi is a Panchayat town in Thoothukudi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a small village in Tamil Nadu, India situated near Thiruchendur. The village was once known for Vetrilai (betal leaves) and Karuppatti.

The charge per passenger is Rs.457 without any reservation charges. The bus travels 440 kilometres in 11 hours and 45 minutes, the distance and journey time may vary as per traffic and road conditions.

State Express Transport Corporation have announced the launch of new service AC sleeper bus service from Nagercoil To Bangalore with its new fleet of 2 AC sleeper buses. The schedule operated under trip code 1930NAGBANAS and route code 887 AS allocated by SETC officials.

The bus service is a hit among the general public of Nagercoil travelling to Bangalore, schedule have additional pick up points at Tirunelveli, Madurai and Karur. The passengers can enjoy sleeper berth providing added travel comfort enroute to Bangalore.

The bus is scheduled to start from Tirunelveli at 7:30 pm and will reach the pick up points Tirunelveli at 9:30 PM, Madurai at 11:50 PM and Karur at 3:00 PM. The bus will reach the final destination Bangalore / Bengaluru Shanti Nagar Bus Stand at 11:50 AM.

The schedule travels 700 kilometres in 14 hours and 20 minutes, excluding the traffic and road conditions enroute the destinations. The per berth per passengers charges are Rs.1400 excluding the reservation charges.

SETC, the premium bus services operator of Tamilnadu Transport Department serving the public have announced the launch of two ac sleeper buses from Chennai CMBT to Gandhipuram SETC Bus Stand.

The route designated for the latest AC Sleeper is 460AS, at present two services are scheduled operate from Chennai CMBT on daily basis. The first service will start at 8:30 PM and second service is scheduled at 9:30 PM.

The first AC Sleeper schedule operated at 8:30 pm to Coimbatore will connect Erode City and have a dropping point at Erode at 3:30 am before reaching coimbatore at 5:30 am the next day.

The schedule have additional pick up points at Ashok Pillar at 8:45 PM, Alandur Subway Bridge at 9:00 PM, Chromepet at 9:15 PM, Tambaram at 9:30 PM and final boarding point Perungalathur at 9:40 PM.

The total travel time for first schedule is 9 hours covering 510 kilometres, travel time and distance may vary due to traffic and road conditions enroute to destinations.

The fare for the service per adult passenger seat is Rs.1020 excluding the reservation charges.

The second schedule operated at 9:30 PM does not go to Erode City and will be directly operated to Coimbatore Non Stop.
