SETC has announced the resuming of 5 daily non AC ultra deluxe bus services from Dindigul to Bangalore via Hosur on daily basis. The schedule will depart from Dindigul bus stand and arrive in Bangalore Shantinagar Bus Stand.

SETC will be operating the service with ultra deluxe class of service with amenities such as pushback seats, reading lamps and mobile charging ports. All the coaches operated by SETC is air suspension based chassis for additional travel comfort.

The service is an interstate bus service operated between two states Tamilnadu and Karnataka based on agreement.

State Express Transport Corporation of Tamilnadu operates bus services from Vellore to Coimbatore and Coimbatore to Vellore on daily basis. The bus service operated by SETC is a non AC class ultra deluxe bus service.

The bus used for the service would be having amenities such as USB mobile charging ports, reading lamps and pushback seats. The bus used for the service is a premium coach with air suspension chassis for additional travel comfort. The passengers are requested to bring their own blanket for the journey as the blanket is not provided due to coronavirus pandemic.

The bus service from Vellore will depart at 7:30 pm and arrive at Coimbatore next day morning 5:00 am. The bus service has a dropping point at Erode next day morning 2:30 am.

The total kilometres covered by the bus service is 386 with journey hours of 10 hours and 30 minutes, the total kilometres and journey time may vary due to road and traffic conditions. The route number designated for the service is 962V and tripcode 1930VELCOI.

Dear Passengers, SETC have resumed the bus service from 7th September 2020. The services operated by SETC are only non-airconditioned bus services such as ultra-deluxe, classic and non-ac seater cum sleeper bus service. At present, there is no operation of fleets such as air-conditioned buses including ac sleeper and ac seater cum sleeper services.

The fare for the service is fixed at Rs 397 excluding the reservation charges. The passengers can book their seats by visiting www.tnstc.in or redbus.com.

TNSTC have resumed the public transportation services from 1-Jun-20 as part of it Nellai region had large number of passengers traveling to Nagercoil from 2-Jun-20.

The spike of passengers were observed on 2-Jun-20 and buses were crowded with passengers without following social distancing in the buses. Due to the incident, 10 additional services were operated to Nagercoil with 60% seating by Nellai region.

The passengers were stopped at Test Booth and Corona test were carried out for the passengers, passengers name address mobile numbers were taken for health purpose by the officials.

The conductor of the bus will cross check the passengers with Aadhar card either in original or photostat is accepted. The conductor if found any thing abnormal with passenger will not allow the passenger and alert the officials.

The reason for Aadhar card is for our better tomorrow, let’s avoid unwanted travel and be a good citizen.

TNSTC have resumed operations today on 1st June 20 as per the guidelines received from Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu.

TNSTC have operates 1st day with 5659 buses in Tamilnadu. The bifurcated figures are 2866 city buses, 2637 suburban buses and 156 buses in hill stations.

The bus services for the day will begin at 6 am and end at 9 pm, there will be no public transportation from 9 pm to 6 am.
