Where Should We Board In Chennai For Diwali Special TNSTC SETC Buses November 2020

As you have already heard, TNSTC and SETC is operating special bus services for Diwali from Chennai to different parts of the state for Diwali. We are going share you the latest updated boarding points for buses departing from Chennai to Different Cities and Towns.

TNSTC and SETC are planning to operate 14757 special buses for Diwali from 11th November 2020. SETC is yet to finalise the resumption of operation air conditioned class of services. Interstate bus services from Tamilnadu to other states such as Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh is standstill, previously there was listing of bus services in redbus portal of SETC.

Diwali is celebrated on 14th November 2020, as the celebration is on Saturday people are expected to travel from Thursday and expected to return back by Sunday or Monday.

Please find below the boarding point and buses operated to different cities or towns this Diwali by TNSTC and SETC.

  • Madhavaram Bus Stand – Buses Operated Towards Red Hills, Ponneri and Gummidipundi
  • KK Nagar Bus Stand – Buses towards, Pondy, Puducherry, Cuddalore and Chidambaram.
  • Tambaram Arignar Anna MEPZ Bus Stand – Buses towards Tindivanam, Vikkiravandi, Panruti, Kumbakonam and Thanjavur.
  • Tambaram Railway Station Bus Stand – Buses operated towards Tiruvannamalai, Gingee, Chethupattu, Polur, Vadalur, Panruti, Neyveli, Chidambaram, Kattumannarkovil, Puducherry via Tindivanam.
  • Poonamallee Bus Stand – Buses operated towards Armani, Arcot, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Tiruthani, Tirupattur, Hosur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri.
  • DR. MGR Bus Stand CMBT – Buses operated towards to Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Karur, Trichy, Madurai, Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Tuticorin and Thoothukudi

The passengers are requested to board the buses with masks, water bottles and food in need of the journey. There are no blankets or curtains available during the journey as per the health protocol released by government of Tamilnadu.
