SETC, the government of Tamilnadu undertaking bus transportation organization has announced the resuming of Bangalore to Kumbakonam AC Seater Cum Sleeper bus service.
The schedule from Bangalore will depart at 7:15 pm and arrive in Kumbakonam the next day morning at 5:15 am. The schedule will be having boarding and dropping points at Hosur, Krishnagiri, Salem, Trichy, Thanjavur.

The fare for the service is fixed at Rs. 666 per seater and Rs.928 per sleeper berth from Bangalore to Kumbakonam.
The total distance covered by the bus service is 459 kilometers in 10 hours.
The bus allocated for the service has features such as Mobile Charging Ports, Reading lamps, pushback seats, and sleepers with mattresses. The chassis used for the manufacturing of the coach is Ashok Leyland with Air Suspension for additional travel comfort.
