SETC Operates daily bus services from Chennai to Marthandam and have recently introduced new service with non AC Seater cum Sleeper coach. The schedule is operated from Chennai Koyambedu Dr. MGR Bus Stand to Marthandam.
The schedule will depart from Chennai at 5.15 pm and reach Marthandam next day morning 9.15 am. The passengers to Tirunelveli, Valliyoor, Nagarcoil can book the service.
The schedule have additional boarding points at Maduravoyal at 5.30 pm, Porur Toll Gate 5.40 pm and Perungalathur at 6.05 pm.
The features of the service are Seater with pushback seats and sleeper with mattress. The coach used is a fully air suspension Chassis, mobile charging ports, reading lamps.
The fare per passenger is fixed at Rs. 730 Seater for a distance of 719 kilometres. The travel time from Chennai to Marthandam is 16 hours. The distance and travel time may vary due to road and traffic conditions.
