Karnataka RTC increases Passenger Fare with a Premium 12% , Impacts for All Travelers From Tamil Nadu

Karnataka RTC have recently announced the increase of passenger tariff with a premium 12%, due to increase in operational costs such as Diesel prices, Salary etc.. The fare increase will also impact the travelers from Tamil Nadu as the tamilnadu transport department should also increase the ticket fare as per interstate service agreement between Tamilnadu and Karnataka.

The fare revision has come to live in Mysore Bangalore sector with effect from 26 Feb 20.

Previously Karnataka RTC have increased the fare by 18% it was revoked by the CM in the year 2018.

At present there is no revision of fares in monthly passes.

Major of travellers travel to Mysore Mandya Mangalore and Bangalore will face the high cost in Ticket Fare as it may go above RS.100 per passenger.
