TNSTC SETC and MTC, the public transportation wing of Tamilnadu Government will not be operating any services till 31st August 2020. The decision is taken by Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Edappadi K Palaniswami after discussion with Medical Experts.
The public bus transportation , MRTS trains, Chennai Metro and special trains are suspended till 31st August 2020. A complete lockdown is announced on Sundays until 31st August 2020.
Further the e-pass service will be live for inter district travels by the public till 31st August 2020.
Honourable CM have taken the decision post discussion with District Collectors and Health Experts. Independence Day celebrations in the state will be celebrated with social distancing and other measures.
